Finished Size: 7" sq 

Materials: 4 Ply yarn; (MC) Rose, (CA) Sage, (CB) White 
Hook Size "G" or size needed for gauge 

Gauge: approx 4" first 5 rounds

Beginning with CA, ch 5, join to form a ring. 

Rnd 1: Ch 3, 11 dc in ring, join with slip st to beg ch-3. (12) 

Rnd 2: Ch 5, (counts as first dc plus ch 2) dc in nx dc, (ch 2, dc in nx dc) around, ch 2, join with slip st to 3rd ch of beg ch-5; finish off. ( 12 dc ) 

Rnd 3: Join CB with sc in any ch-2 sp, (ch 3, sc in next sp) around, ch 3, join with slip st to beg sc. (12 loops) 

Rnd 4: Slip st in next loop, ( ch 3, 2 dc, ch 2, 3 dc in same sp ) beg corner made, * + ch 3, (sc in next sp, ch 3) twice, + in nx sp work (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc) corner made; rep from * 2 times more, then rep from + to + once, join with slip st to beg ch-3; finish off. 

Rnd 5: Join MC with slip st in any corner sp, work beg corner, *ch 3, sc in next sp, 3 dc in next sp, sc in next sp, ch 3, work corner in next sp; rep from * around, omit last corner, end with slip st to beg ch-3 (12 3-dc groups) 

Rnd 6: Ch 3, dc in next 2 dc, * ( 2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc ) in next sp, corner made, dc in next 3 dc, 2 dc in next sp, ch 3, sc in center dc of next 3-dc group, ch 3, 2 dc in next sp, dc in next 3 dc; rep from * around, omit last 3 dc, join with slip st to beg ch-3. 

Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in next 4 dc, * + (2 dc, ch 2, 2 dc) in next sp, skip next dc, dc in next 6 dc, 2 dc in next sp, ch 2, 2 dc in next sp, skip next dc, + dc in next 6 dc; rep from * around, 2 times more then rep from + to + once, dc in next dc, join with slip st to beg ch-3; finish off. 

Rnd 8: Join CB with sc in any corner sp, 2 sc in same sp, *skip first dc, sc in next 9 dc, 2 sc in next sp, sc in next 10 dc, 3 sc in next sp; rep from * around, omit last 3 sc, join with slip st to beg sc; finish off.
