Storage for Yarn and Thread

I  use oatmeal boxes to store cotton thread and to make a yarn caddy. The boxes of thread are stored on their sides with the color within written on the cover with magic marker.  I remove the label so that on the sides of some, I have written pattern directions for things that I make with that color; for instance green wreaths, red bells, and white snowflakes, to name a few. The yarn caddy is simply 3 boxes held together with duck tape around the middle. Now I just need to crochet a cover for it , punch some holes in it and crochet a handle. I wonder if 5 boxes would be too big? Linda P.    katadin@hotmail.com
