afghans for Afghans is a humanitarian and educational people-to-people project  that is sending hand-knit and crocheted blankets to the beleaguered people of Afghanistan 

Chemotherapy Hats of The East Bay Here we make Chemo Therapy Hats for cancer patients who are going through treatment right now. They are donated  to Mt. Diablo Hospital in Concord, Ca. If you join this group I do have patterns that I can send you to get you started. Hats are dropped off on the 30th of each month. There is a lot of love that goes into making these hats, so please, won't you come and join us.  

We are Loving Stitches for Preemies & Newborns of Columbus, Ohio.  We make sleepers, hats, booties, receiving blankets, afghans, quilts, gowns and small stuffed animals for preemies and newborns.  In the unfortunate event of a babies death, we also make a 6-piece burial layette for the family.  All items are donated, free of charge, to the needy preemies and newborns.  We welcome any new Volunteers.  LovingStitches@att.net
