 Linen Cardigan  Exchange to crochet

FOR EXPERIENCED KNITTERS The look of linen is popular in summer fashions.  Knit this popular look into every stitch of this cable mesh cardigan. "Linen Look," a novelty yarn blending 63% acrylic, 17% cotton, 13% linen and 7% wool achieves the desired "Linen Look."

Cables worked over 10 stitches accent the lace mesh pattern of the casual cardigan.  Coupled with the linen look, the design lends itself well to wearing with slacks or skirts.

Directions are given for a 30 inch bust with changes for 32, 34, 36, 38 and 40 inches in parentheses.

The finished bust measurements of the buttoned cardigan are 33 ½ (36, 37½, 39½, 42, 45) inches.

You will need 8 (8, 9,10,10,11) 50 gram balls "Linen Look," numbers 3 and 6 standard knitting needles or size required to obtain given gauge, cable pattern.
Stitch holder and 8 buttons.

Gauge: 21 sts equal 4 inches
