Knitted Lace with Fagot Points

Use any thread with knitting needles of corresponding size to this edge.

Abbreviations: Sts (stitches);  p (purl);  k (knit);  Y0 (yarn over),
tog (together);

to make a fagot stitch-YO twice, p 2 tog-the first YO is made by bringing thread toward you as to p, so when a fagot follows a fagot only one YO between is needed.
 

To begin: Cast on 11 sts.

Row 1: K 2, YO, k 2 tog, YO, k 1 (fagot twice), k 2.

Row 2: K 2, (fagot twice), k 6.

Row 3: K 2, YO, k 2 tog, YO, k 2,(fagot twice), k 2.

Row 4: K 2, (fagot twice), k 7.

Row 5: K 2, YO, k 2 tog, YO, k 3,(fagot twice), k 2.

Row 6: K 2, (fagot twice), k 8.

Row 7: K 2, YO, k 2 tog, YO, k 4,(fagot twice), k 2.

Row 8: K 2, (fagot twice), k 9.

Row 9: K 2, YO, k 2 tog, YO, k 5,(fagot twice), k 2.

Row 10: K 2, (fagot twice), k 10.

Row 11: K 2, YO, k 2 tog, YO, k 12.

Row 12: Bind off 6 sts, k 10.

Repeat from Row 1 - 11 for desired length.
