Exchanging knit to crochet

Exchange knitting to crochet or crochet to knitting.

Knit Stole for Little Girl           Exchange to crochet 

Materials Required: AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY (fingering weight) "DAWN" LIGHT WEIGHT POMPADOUR or "DAWN" INFANTS WOOL or "DAWN" BABY YARN 5 ozs. Baby Pink or color desired.

  1 pr. knitting needles No. 5

Cast on 111 sts and P 1 Row.

Then work in pattern as follows:

1st Row: K 2, * Y 0, sl 1, K 1, p.s.s.o., K 1, K 2 tog, Y 0, K 1, repeat from * across row ending with Y 0, K 2.

2nd and 4th Rows: P across row.

3rd Row: K 3, * Y 0, sl 1, K 2 tog, p.s.s.o, Y 0, K 3, repeat from * across row.

Repeat these 4 rows until stole measures 48 inches from the beginning. Bind off.

FRINGE: Wind yarn over a 5 inch cardboard, cut one end. Using 2 strands, double in half and loop through each st across each short end.
