Convert this to crochet

4 ply worsted yarn
Number 8  needles  

Cast on 90 sts  

1st Row; K2 *, p2, k2, repeat from * to end of row.

2nd Row; P2,* k2, p2, repeat from * to end of row.

3rd Row; Cast off 2 sts * p2, k2 repeat from * to end of row.

4th Row; Cast off 2 sts work in pattern to end of row.

Repeat cast off until 50 sts remain on needle and 22 rows have been worked.

Now increase by casting on 2sts - continue in k2, p2 pattern until 90 sts are again on the needle.

Work one Row on all 90 sts then cast off in rib. 

Join mitered points at each end and matching the Crochet ties and sew to either side of head band.

Ends of ties may be finished with small pom-poms.
