Openwork Scarf
Thank you Sarah C Long, warm, openwork scarf.
It is really easy and knits up fast!
Materials required: 3 balls of Rowan Chunky Print yarn and 3 balls of Sirdar Funky Fur Magic (an eyelash yarn)
size 12mm needles (UK)
Cast on 15 stitches.
Knit three rows of garter stitch (every Row knit)
Pattern for every Row: Knit 1, * (yarn forward, slip one, knit one, pass the slipped stitch over) repete from * to the end. end knit 1.
When the scarf is as long as you want it, knit three more rows of garter stitch to finish it off.
You could add a fringe in the eyelash yarn.
I designed this pattern to suit two needles for those of us who hate four needles and those circular ones!
