Convert this to crochet
Materials: 2 [3, 3] (50 gram) balls from Patons Diploma Gold DK.
For stripes allow 1 ball of contrasting color for each size,
4 mm straight needles
4 mm double pointed needles
Sizes: Child [Woman, Man]
Tension: 11 sts and 15 rows 2 inches in stocking stitch on 4 mm needles.
Fancy Rib Pattern rounds 1 - 4.
1st round -*K2, P2; rep from *
2nd round - same
3rd round - same
4th - *K2 tog but do not slip sts off needle, insert point of right hand needle between these 2 sts and K first st, then slip both sts off needle together, P2; rep from * For stripes, work 4 rounds main color, 4 rounds contrasting color twice, working first round K for each color change
Starting at neck edge, with set of 4 mm needles, cast on 88[96,104]sts, then divide sts evenly on to 3 needles.
Working in you choice of (K1 ,P1)rib, (K2, P2)ribbing or Fancy rib with or without stripes, work 2 [2 ½, 3]in.
Change to set of 3 ¼ mm needles and continue in your choice of ribbing, (omitting stripes if you are knitting them) until work measures 4 [5, 6] in. Turn and K 44 [48 ,52] sts. Divide remaining 44 [48, 52] sts on to 2 needles and leave for front bib, turn.
Change to 4 mm needles and work across first 44 [48, 52] sts as follows:
To make back bib, cast on 8 [10, 12] sts for one shoulder, K6, P to end, cast on 8 [10, 12] sts for other shoulder 60[68, 76] sts.
Row 1; K the Row.
Row 2; K6, P to last 6 sts, K6.
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 for 8 ½ [9, 9 ½]in, ending with Row 8. Work 8 more rows in garter stitch (every Row K). Cast off.
To make front bib: slip remaining sts on to a 4 mm needle. With wrong side of Dickey facing, rejoin yarn and cast on 8[10, 12] sts for one shoulder, K these 8 [10, 12] sts, K2, turn.
2nd and every alt Row - sl 1, P to last 6 sts, K6.
3rd Row - K12 [14, 16], turn
5th Row - K14 [16, 18], turn
7th Row - K16 [18, 20], turn
9th Row - K18 [20,22], turn
11th Row - K 52 [58, 64], cast on 8 [10, 12]sts for other shoulder 60 [68,76]sts).
12th Row - K6, P4 [6,8], turn
13th and every alt Row - sl 1, K to end of Row.
14th Row - K6, P6 [8,10], turn
16th Row - K6, P8 [10,12], turn
18th Row - K6, P10 [12,14], turn
20th Row - K6, P12 [14,16], turn
22nd Row - K6, P to last 6 sts, K6.
23rd Row - K
Rep last 2 rows until work measures same as back from top of shoulder to garter stitch border, ending with a 23rd Row.
Work 8 rows garter stitch. Cast off loosely.
Join shoulder seams.
