At St. Michael's Episcopal Church in Independence, Missouri (Kansas City Area) we have a Prayer & Craft Guild.  We crochet, knit, make beads and beaded jewelry and Anglican rosaries.  The knitting and crochet encompasses prayer shawls, chemo caps, mittens and scarves.  anyone is welcome, you do not have to be a member of the church, and there are no dues or anything required.  Just show up at 7:00 p.m. or 6:30 for evening prayer any Wednesday night.  It's a fun group of women of all ages - we call ourselves "sisterchicks."  Please email for more info - Trish lrdoran@comcast.net
