Tampa The Tampa group that meets at Barnes & Noble on the 3rd Wednesday of the month is NO LONGER a MeetUp group, and hasn't been since MeetUp decided their services were worth $20/month.  We disagreed, but continue to meet on the 3rd Wed. as the Barnes & Noble Knitting group.  So, why am I boring you with this?  Well, for a couple of reasons.  First, B&N's corporate policy, according to the local community events manager, is NO MEETUP GROUPS.  So if someone calls the place where we meet for info, they'll be told there is NO Knitting MeetUp--technically true, but we still meet. We usually meeet every other or so Sunday at the same location. http://knitting.meetup.com/962/

Join us for a "knit-in" at the Panera Bread across from USF on Bruce B. Downs. It is located near University Mall, just north of Fowler Avenue, and south of Fletcher. Bring a project to keep your hands busy, or just come for chit-chat and comraderie.
