Exchanging knit to crochet

Favorite, Quick Afghan Exchange to crochet

From: Solamber@cs.com

Here is my ugly, coffee stained, but favorite quick afghan pattern to knit.

Cast on 103 (137 for adult size) using size 15 needles.

12 oz. 4 ply worsted weight yarn for baby size.

Color suggestions: all white, also one row of white, one of baby yellow and one of baby amber throughout.  Another color suggestion would be a large band of amber near each end.

Row 1 and 2 knit.

Row 3  K1, *k2tog, k6, yo, k1, yo, k6, k2tog* repeat across Row ending in a k1.

Row 4 P.

Row 5  K  repeat rows 3, 4, and 5 for pattern.

This pattern is quick and easy.  Hope it is of help to other knitters.  I know I'm always glad to get a new pattern, especially if it is free!

Note: Try this with 2 strands held together in two different colors. Very Nice!
