Easy Shawl    convert this to crochet  

Thank you Wilhelmina Ross wmross@embarqmail.com who sent in this pattern to share with you all. I’ve not tried this pattern but on the next car trip we take you can bet I will. Wilhelmina says here is a VERY easy pattern.

Size 7 circular knitting needles

Worsted-weight yarn (approx. 3 skeins of 3.5 oz. each).

If you knit loosely, select a size smaller needle.

Cast on 4 stitches.

K2, wool forward, knit to end of row.

Continue this row until desired width. (You will have an extra stitch every row).

Cast off loosely (this can be achieved by using straight knitting needle 2 sizes larger than the circular one).

For an added embellishment, weave a coordinating ribbon through the holes created on each side.
