1st Row: - right side facing P 2, *K1, P2, rep from * to end.
2nd Row: - K2, *P1, K2 rep. from * to end.
These 2 rows form pattern.
Join in G, and continue in pattern, working 2 rows G. and 2 rows B. throughout, shaping sides by increasing 1 st. at each end of every row until there are 53 sts, taking inc. sts. into the pattern.
Now inc. 1 st at each end of every following 3 rd row until there are 75 sts.
Place a marker at each end of last row.
Continue increasing 1 st. at each end of every following 3rd row until there are 75 sts. Place a marker at each end of last row.
Continue increasing 1st. at each end of every following 3rd row until there are 101 sts.
Continue straight until work measures 12 in., ending with right side facing.
Divide for legs as follows:
Next Row - pattern. 21, turn, leaving remaining sts. on a spare needle.
Work 18 rows straight. Break yarn. Slip all sts. on a spare needle.
