To work Shell: 3 dc, ch2 3 dc
With Rose, ch 11, loosely
Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hook, place marker around last dc made for Ruffle Placement, sk next 2 chs, work Shell in next ch, skip next 2 chs, dc in last 2 chs turn: 10 sts.
Row 2 thru 106: Ch 3 (counts as first dc throughout pattern) dc in next dc, work Shell in next ch-2 sp, skip next 3 dc, dc in last 2 sts. Turn.
Row 107: Ch 3, dc in next dc, ch 2, sc in next ch-2 sp, ch 2, skip next 3 dc, dc in last 2dc, finish off.
With right side (first Row made) facing and working in front of first dc and around second dc on each Row across (between first dc and Shell) join Ecru with slip st around marked dc, ch 3, 4 dc around same dc, (sc around next dc, 5 dc around next dc) across, working across Row 107, sc in first ch 2 sp, d dc in next sc, sc in last ch 2 sp, working in front of first dc and around second dc on each Row across (between Shell and last dc) 5 dc around first dc (on Row 107), (sc around next dc, 5 dc around next dc) across, working around beginning ch, sc in first ch 2 sp, 5 dc in free loop of ch at base of Shell, sc in last ch 2 sp, join with slip st to first dc, finish off.
With right side of long edge facing and working behind ruffle and in each end of rows on center, join Roswe with sl st in first wor, ch 3, dc in same Row, 2 dc in next Row, ( 3 dc in each of next 2 rows, 2 dc in next Row) across, finish off. 284 dc.
Do second side as first side.
Place two strips with wrong sides together and bottom edges at the same end.
Using Rose and working through inside loops only, whipstitch Strips together beginning in first dc of trim and ending in last dc of trim. Join remaining stripe in same manner.
