MATERIALS Any good Bulky yarn

11 (2 oz. balls) - Main Color (M C)

2 (4 oz. balls) - 1 each Colors A and B

1 Aero crochet hook Size 7:00 mm (K) OR ANYSIZE HOOKTHATWILL GIVETHE STITCH GAUGE GIVEN

GAUGE: 5 dc = 2 inches 

NOTE 1: 1 strand each of Colors A and B are used together throughout.

NOTE 2: When changing colors, always work last 2 loops of dc in new color.

NOTE 3: Always count turning ch as 1 dc.

STRIPING PATTERN: 1 Row 1 strand each of Colors A and B used tog, 3 rows M C, repeat these 4 rows for striping pattern.

Using 1 strand each of Colors A and B, ch 59 sts loosely.

Row 1: 1 dc in 3rd st from hook, 1 dc in each of next 6 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of next 8 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of next 8 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of next 4 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of next 8 sts, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in next st, ch 1, skip 1 st, 1 dc in each of last 8 sts, pull M C through 2 loops on hook, ch 3, turn. Break offColors A and B.

Row 2 (right side): Working in BACK LOOP ONLY, 1 dc in each of next 7 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of last 8 dc, ch 3, turn.

Row 3: Working in FRONT LOOP ONLY, 1 dc in each of next 7 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 4 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of next 8 dc, ch 1, 1 dc in next dc, ch 1, 1 dc in each of last 8 dc, ch 3, turn.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for pattern st and work in striping pattern until striping pattern has been worked 18 times, ending 1 Row of pattern st for Row 3, using Colors A and B. Fasten off.

FINISHING: EDGING: With right side facing you, join 1 strand each of Colors A and B in first st of one short end and work as follows: * Ch 5, sl st in 4th st of ch, ch 2, skip 2 sts, 1 s c in next st, repeat from * across Row.

Fasten off. Work same edging across other short end. Fasten off.
