Lady's Ear Warmer Headband

Materials:
Hook:  Size H/8-5.00mm
Yarn:  1 ½ oz. Sport Weight Yarn

Notes:
Dec:  Decrease one stitch:  Insert hook into sc, yo, pull through one loop.  Insert hook into
next sc, yo, pull through all three (3) loops on hook.  One decrease made.

Inc:  Increase one stitch:  2 sc in same stitch.  One increase made.

Always turn work in same direction to keep a straight edge.

Ch 18
Row 1:  sc in 2nd chain from hook and in each ch across (17 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 2-16:  sc in each sc across. Ch 1; turn.

Row 17:  Dec, sc in next 13 sc, dec (15 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 18:  Dec, sc in next 11 sc, dec (13 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 19:  Dec, sc in next 9 sc, dec (11 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 20-37:  sc in each sc across. Ch 1; turn.

Row 38:  Inc, sc in next 9 sc, inc (13 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 39:  Inc, sc in next 11 sc, inc (15 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 40:  Inc, sc in next 13 sc, inc (17 sc).  Ch 1; turn.

Row 41-55:  sc in each sc across. Ch 1; turn.

Row 56:  sc in each sc across.  Fasten off, leaving a 6-inch strand of yarn for seam.

Fold ends together.  Using crochet hook, weave 6-inch strand of yarn through both loops.
Fasten and weave in end.
