Glass Jacket
Convert this to knit
THE ORIGINAL glass jacket was made in rose but a combination of pastels would give you a delightful and attractive set. For a set, you will need a ball of rose color J.P. coats Knit-Cro-Sheen and a size 2 steel crochet hook. A double thread is used throughout.

ch (chain)
st (stitch)
sl st (slip stitch)
sc (single crochet)
inc (increase)
dc (double crochet)
lp (loop)
rnd (round)
sk (skip)
Bottom: Start at center with ch 2.
Rnd 1: 6 sc in second ch from hook.
Rnd 2: 2 sc in each sc around.
Rnd 3: * 2 sc in next sc for one inc, sc in next sc. Repeat from * around.
Rnd 4: sc in each sc and work 6 inc evenly spaced in rnd.
All remaining rnds of bottom: Work as for rnd 4 until piece measures same size as bottom of glass, sl st in next sc.
Side-
Rnd 1: sc in back lp of each sc around, sl st in first sc.
Rnd 2: sc in same place with sl st, ch 3, dc in same st, * sk 3 sc, (sc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next sc.
Repeat. from * around, sl st in first sc, turn.
Rnds 3 through 6: Sl st in each of first 3 dc, * (sc, ch 3, 3 dc) in next ch 3 lp.
Repeat from around.1 sl st in first sc, turn.
Rnd 7: Ch 3, dc in same place with sl st, * sc in next ch 3 lp, 3 dc in next sc.
Repeat from around, end with a dc in same place with first dc, sl st in top of first ch 3.
Fasten off.
