Bookworm Bookmark Pattern

Convert this pattern to knit

½ oz. knitting worsted;

size D crochet hook;

2 sequins; 2 seed beads

Chain 68.
In back loop of 4th ch from hook * yo hook, draw up a ½ " long loop (yo and draw through 2 loops) twice * -- long dc made.   

Work one more long dc in same ch.

Work 3 long dc in back loop of each of next 20 ch, dc in next ch, hdc in next ch, sc in next ch, and sl st in next ch.

Fasten off; secure loose end of yarn.

Re twist coil so head is inside.

Cut 7 6" strands; fold in ½. Wrap yarn around ¼ " from fold to form tassel; attach to free end of ch. For eyes, sew sequins with beads to edge of 1st coil. (you could use jiggle eyes).
