Materials Required: AMERICAN THREAD COMPANY "STAR" PEARL COTTON, ARTICLE 100

2--125 yd. Balls Size 5.
or 1 Ball of "DeLuxe" Mercerized Crochet and Knitting Cotton White or
Colors.
½ yd. of Narrow Ribbon.
Steel Crochet Hook No. 6 or 7.

  Ch 10, join to form a ring. Ch 1, 1 s c in each st of ch, join each Row.

2^nd Row. Ch 3, d c in same space, 2 d c in each remaining s c.

3^rd Row. Ch 3, d c in same space, 2 d c in each remaining d c (40 d c).

4^th Row. Ch 3, * d c in each of the next 4 d c, 2 d c in next d c, repeat from * all around (47 d c).

5^th Row. Ch 3, * 2 d c in next d c, 1 d c in next d c, repeat from * all around (70 d c).

6^th Row. * 1 s c in each of the next 9 d c, skip 1 d c, repeat from * all around (63 s c).

7^th Row. Ch 3, 1 d c in each s c to within the last 2 s c, ch 2, skip the 2 s c, sl st in ch 8 at beginning of Row, ch 5, turn. (Join each Row and turn each Row.)

8^th Row. D c in d c, ch 1, skip 1 d c, puff sl in next d c (puff st: thread over, insert in st and work off 2 loops, * thread over, insert in same st, work off 2 loops, repeat from * thread over insert in same st and work off all loops at one time) * ch 1, skip 1 d c, puff st in next d c. repeat from * all around and join iR 3rd st of ch 5.

9^th Row, Ch 3, * 1 d c in each ch, 1 d c in each puff st, repeat from * across Row ending Row with ch 2 and join in ch 8 at beginning of Row.

Repeat the last 2 rows until work measures 4 ¾ inches. Beading * ch 5, skip 1 puff st, s c in next puff st, repeal from * all around.

Next Row. * Ch 5, s c in next loop, repeat from * all around.

Next Row. Sl st to loop, * ch 3, d c in next loop, 4 ch picot, d c in same loop, p, d c in same loop, ch 3, s c in next loop and repeat from * all around.

Lace ribbon through beading and finish with bow as illustrated.
