Materials needed
1 dish soap bottle
hole punch hook size 2.00 about
50 grams (mc) sport yarn about
50 grams (cc) sport yarn
small amount stuffing
small amount of baby yarn for blanket (color of choice)
small amount of white sport yarn (mattress)
pom pom maker or cardboard about 2" in diameter
Prepare bottle
Cut bottle 2" from bottom and punch holes evenly spaced around.
Bottom with mc, ch 9,
Row1; sc in 2nd ch from hk and in each st across
Row2; sc across
Row3; 2sc in 1st st,sc across,2sc in last st.
Rows 4-14, sc across
Row15; dec1,sc across,dec in last.
Row16; sc across
Row17; sc around with 3 sc in each corner
Row18; in back loop only sc around
Rows19-27; sc around
Row28; insert soap bottle, sc around through holes adjusting as needed to work every st and every hole. fasten off mc
Row29; attach cc in any st in back loop only, 2 sc in each st around with opening facing you
Rnd30; ch 4 dc in same,*sk 2 dc ch1 dc in next st around.
Rnds31-35; 2dc ch2 2dc in each ch 1 sp around. fasten off cc. Attach mc
Rnd36; sc around with 3 sc in each ch 2 loop. fasten off.
Hood
find middle st on one short end,
count 11 on each side and mark,
attach mc in1st st and sc around short end (22sts)
Rows2-6; dec 1 at each end fasten off at end of Row 6
Mattress with white sport yarn, ch 11,sc across sc across until you have 36 rows, fold short end together and sew 3 sides, stuff and finish sewing, adding stuffing as needed.
Blanket
with baby yarn ch 16work 16 rows of sc, sc around with 3 sc in each corner.
fasten off
Draw string (make2) (1 mc) (1cc) ch 125.
end off.
do not fasten ends into ch , you will use this to attach pompom
Thread one drawstring starting at one short side and thread the other starting at the other short side. Attach pom poms and insert doll.
