Abbreviations

Exchanging knit to crochet

learn to exchange knitting patterns to crochet or exchange your crochet patterns to knitting.

Baby Blanket  exchange to knit

 

Use any size yarn and color you'd like. Read the label to see what hook is recommended.

 Worsted weight:

 24 ounces with a size H crochet hook.

21 oz.  And a G crochet hook

 All are approximate. I'd buy more if you're concerned about dye lot and return what you do not use.


Chain 113

Row 1 Sc in 2nd ch from hook and in each ch across -- 112 sc.

Row 2 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.


Fasten off MC.

Row 3 Attach A, ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.

Row 4 Ch 1, turn. Sc tbl (through back loop) in each sc across.

Fasten off A.

Row 5 Attach MC, ch 1, turn. Sc tbl in each sc across.

Row 6 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.


Fasten off MC.

Row 7 Attach B, ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.

Row 8 Ch 1, turn. Sc tbl of each sc across.


Fasten off B.

Row 9 Attach MC, ch 1, turn. Sc tbl in each sc across.

Row 10 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.


Fasten off MC.

Row 11 Attach C, ch 1, turn. Sc in each across.

Row 12 Ch 1, turn. Sc tbl of each sc across.


Fasten off C.

Row 13 Attach MC, ch 1, turn. Sc tbl in each sc across.

Row 14 Ch 1, turn. Sc in each sc across.

Fasten off MC.

Rep Rows 3-14 for stripe pattern until Blanket measures 32".

BORDER


Rnd 1 With MC, work 1 rnd sc around entire Blanket working 3 sc in each corner, end slip st in first sc. Ch 1, turn. With MC work 3 more rounds sc, then rep color and stitch sequence of Rows 3-14, always working 3 sc in each corner.
