Another Head Band  

  Materials: 1 ball of worsted weight yarn, any color,  solid colors show of baubles better.

Hook - 4.5mm

Darning needle 

To omit baubles (for men) simply use hdc stitch through out. 

Stitches:   ch, sc, hdc, trc 

Ch 70 and carefully join with slip stitch to start of chain.   Do not twist. 

Rnd 1: ch 2, hdc in ea st around and sl st to top of ch 2.

 Rnd 2:  ch 4, sc in next, *trc in next, sc in next*,  rep from *  * and slip stitch to top of ch 4. 

 Rnds 3 to 10  repeat rnds 1 and 2 alternating.  Should have 5 rows of baubles.

 Rnd 11 to 20:  ch 2, hdc in ea st around, sl st to top of ch 2.  repeat

 Fold wrong sides together, (baubles facing out) and overcast stitch to sew together.    Easy wash, and doubled over, keeps the ears very warm.

Reduce starting chain by 10 to vary sizes.
