Afghan Edgings and Borders    

Thanks to  SCBasco@ for sending these two patterns in to share with you all.    

So here you go, two patterns you'll want to pick up your  hooks and get busy doing what you love. That is working with yarn.    

Round 1: (Right side) Sc around entire project with 3sc in corners. end with sl st to first sc, ch4

Round 2. (Right side) Dc in same space as ch4, *sk 2sc, 1dc, ch1, 1dc in next sp* repeat .  Corners-dc, ch1, dc, ch3, dc, ch1, dc in corner stitch. End with sl st to in 3rd ch of first 4. ch 4 & turn.

Round 3. (Wrong side) Repeat Round 2.

Round 4. (Right side) Repeat Round 2, at the end of the round, cut

Round 5. (Wrong side) Attach white in any sp & repeat Round 2

Round 6. (Right side) Repeat Round 2, sl st to top ch3.

Round 7. (Right side) Sl st to next ch1 and then *2sc, ch3, 2sc (picot made).*In corner, 3sc .Picot around entire project and end with sl st to 1rst sc. cut.

Christmas Border

Round 1. On right side, *Sc in next five stitches, sc  2tog*   repeat between stars. 3sc in corners, sl st to first sc. Cut.

Round 2. On wrong side & with green in any corner Ch 3, yo & draw up loop 4 more times,Yo and draw yarn through all loops on hook, ch 4, and another bobble in same corner stitch, ch 1,  *sk 1 sc,1 dc in each of the  next 5 stitches, sk 1 sc, bobble* repeat between  *'s. To make bobble, yo and draw up loop, 5 times, yo and draw loop through all stitches  on hook, ch1. End with sl st to 3rd ch, Cut.

Round 3. On right side attach white in any corner. Ch3, 2dc, ch3, 3dc, ch1-first corner made.*Dc in the next 5 stitches, ch2 * repeat between *'s (Ch 2 sp should be directly over bobble of previous Row) Next corner-3dc, ch3, 3dc, ch1. End  with sl st to top ch 3. Cut.

Round 4. On right side and in any corner attach red,  Bobble, ch3, bobble-corner, Dc in next 5 stitches *Bobble, dc in next  2dc, dc in ch2 sp, dc in next 2 dc* Repeat between *'s End with sl st top ch 3. Cut

Round 5. Attach white and on right side Repeat Row 3

Round 6. Right Side & green in any corner 2sc, 4ch, 2sc, 4ch, 2sc,-corner made *3sc in next 3dc, in ch 2 sp of previous Row, *2sc, ch4, 2sc-picot made, sk next dc, sc in next  4 stitches* repeat between *'s End with sl st and cut.
