Just a note to add, the needle sizes are British and the U.S. equivalent are 2 and 3 for 12 and 10 respectively. 

Metric sizes are 2.75 and 3.25. 2-ply yarn is difficult to get, but Yarn Forward (in the "found room" carries the yarn and will ship to U.S. as well as Canada, of course).
