Materials-M. & K. Knitting Cotton; No. 6-3 Ply and No. 7 Steel Needles.
Cast on 55 stitches.

Note:
This pattern is talking about stockinette. Knit one row, purl the next would end up being a smoother or softer feel to your skin.
Knitting both rows or all rows would be a rougher feel and great for getting rid of dead skin.
Knit 2 stitches as one 9-times (This is at the wrist), knit across.
Then 3 rows of k 3, p3.
Bind off all stitches and sew up side seam.
